The Gloria Center Project Feature for Web Steel Buildings NW

Gloria Center in the Dalles, Oregon

At Web Steel Buildings NW, steel is just the beginning. Every structure we help deliver is built around purpose, people, and a clear understanding of what our customers—and their communities—need to succeed. That’s why we were honored to be part of the team behind the Gloria Center, a new community resource facility located in The Dalles, Oregon.

The Gloria Center is more than a standard shell—it’s a technically complex, highly customized project building designed to bring multiple community services under one roof. Built in partnership with Bremik Construction and guided by the architectural vision of the client and Access Architecture, the facility supports a range of agencies offering housing assistance, behavioral and physical health care, veterans services, employment support, and emergency shelter.

From the steel side, the structure required extensive coordination between the Web Steel Buildings NW design team, the project architect, and the general contractor to ensure that every structural and engineering component of the pre-engineered metal building met the final functional and aesthetic expectations of the end-user.

Though it may look like multiple structures from the outside, the Gloria Center is a single, unified building, engineered through our project-building process. Its design incorporates multiple joined sections, advanced insulation systems (Simple Saver for both roof and walls), and rooftop solar panel readiness—resulting in a facility that is both flexible and highly energy-efficient.

Designed for Purpose, Built for People

Projects like the Gloria Center demonstrate the depth and flexibility of Web Steel Buildings’ work. We’re not just a supplier of prefabricated building kits—we’re a collaborative design partner with the ability to engineer solutions for some of the most demanding build requirements. Whether you’re working with an architect, a GC, or are taking a more hands-on approach yourself, our team is here to bridge the gap between concept and construction.

From nonprofit and public sector projects to agricultural, commercial, and residential builds, we support customers across Oregon, Washington, and far beyond. Our ability to adapt to the needs of the end-user—no matter the location, scale, or industry—is part of what continues to set WSBNW apart.

Building What Matters for Each Customer

The Gloria Center is a space that will serve hundreds of people each year, helping bring stability and hope to families and individuals in need. We’re proud to have been part of its creation—and ready to help others bring their own purpose-driven spaces to life.
